An in-line folding device on a web press. The jaw folder essentially consists of a set of cylinders. As a paper web is carried around one cylinder, it is cut into indiovidual sheets or signatures, each of which is forced by a tucker blade (which creates a slight protrusion on paper) into a set of jaws on an adjacent cylinder. As the web is forced through these jaws, a fold is created. The jaw folder is essentially used to cut and fold a web into individual cylinders.
