Sheet Decurler

A device on some sheetfed printing presses (especially those used in offset lithography) located between the last impression cylinder and the delivery pile that works to remove the curl from press sheets. A typical sheet decurler consists of two rollers or semicircular plates over which the press sheet passes. As it passes over the nip of these two rollers (but not through it) a vacuum pulls down on the sheet, eliminating any curling tendencies on the part of the paper.
