Molybdate Orange

A chrome-based inorganic color pigment used in printing inks. Molybdate Orange is one of several shades of orange red pigment, with good lightfastness, but a tendency to become dark when exposed to air. They are highly opaque and are resistant to heat, but susceptible to reaction with acids and alkalis. As with many of the inorganic pigments, its use is waning due to its toxicity.
