A type of drum imagesetter, a device used for high-resolution laser output of digitally-created pages or color separations in which the film to be exposed is mounted inside a cylinder, and the light source moves around the inside of the drum, as opposed to an external drum imagesetter. See Drum Imagesetter. Also called an internal drum film recorder and an internal drum plotter.
