A series of air holes, nozzles, or fans used in the delivery section of a sheetfed printing press (especially that used in offset lithography)—alone or in tandem with suction rollers—to slow down a press sheet as it leaves the delivery chain and enters the delivery pile. The force of the air blowing down on the sheet keeps the sheet steady as it is about to fall onto the stack. (See Delivery Section.)
